Enroll/Cost

If you need to enroll in AcademicBlue SHIP coverage as an AGS employee for the current 2023-2024 plan year ending 08/31/2024, click 23-24 Plan Year and scroll down to Enroll/Cost.

If you waived coverage for the 2023-2024 plan year, your waiver automatically continues for the 2024-2025 plan year. In order to enroll in coverage for the 2024-2025 plan year, please contact AHP to request your 2024-2025 waiver be removed by the enrollment deadline.

Open Enrollment Dates

Open enrollment period to add dependents is 31 calendar days after hire date.

Open Enrollment for Returning AGS
07/15/2024 - 09/15/2024

If you want dependent coverage for the new plan year starting 09/01/2024, you must enroll your dependents by 09/15/2024, even if they are covered through 08/31/2024. Otherwise, your AcademicBlue SHIP coverage will automatically continue for only you. You do not need to take action during the enrollment period if you don’t want dependent coverage starting 09/01/2024.

New Fall AGS
08/16/2024 - 09/15/2024

These are the new employees with a hire date of 08/16/2024. Through 08/31/2024, Part-Time are automatically enrolled and do not need to enroll themselves. Effective 09/01/2024, all AGS employees (part-time and full-time) are automatically enrolled and do not need to enroll themselves.
